Account and game data

Stellar Foundry uses your account identifier, email address and name to authenticate you and associate your saved empire with your account. Signing in with Google shares your basic profile information, including your name, email address and profile picture, with Supabase, our authentication provider. We request only basic identity, email and profile access. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or calendar.

We store your game progress, commander profile, friend relationships and activity timestamps to run the game, save progress and provide its social features. Your chosen commander name, avatar and game statistics can be shown to other players through those features. Your login email is not part of your public commander profile.

Services and storage

Supabase handles Google account sessions. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide the website and game database; OpenAI also handles the optional ChatGPT sign-in. These services receive the information needed to provide their respective functions and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and security logs. Their infrastructure may process data in more than one country.

Essential cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage keeps an account-specific copy of game progress and game settings. Signing out ends the current game session; you can remove locally stored data through your browser settings. The game does not include advertising trackers and does not sell Google account data or use it for advertising.

Purpose and retention

Account and game information is used to provide the game you request. Technical information helps operate and secure the service. Saved progress remains available between visits. Account and game records are retained while your account is in use, or until you request their removal, subject to necessary security or legal retention.

Your choices

You can revoke Google access in your Google Account settings. Revoking access does not by itself delete saved game data. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your account and game data, contact the address above from the email associated with your account. Where applicable, you can also object to processing, request restrictions and complain to your data protection authority.

Google and ChatGPT sign-ins create separate game identities. Use your original sign-in method to continue an existing empire.
